The analyst actively supports activities that serve to optimize the performance of Epic applications and technology in a way that best serves the needs of Meridian. The analyst works closely with other technology professionals and end-users to clearly meet project expectations.


  1. Supports training end-users in preparation for system activation.  Will develop training outlines and curriculum to meet clients training needs. Assist in development of training related documentation and lead classes to train end-users and/or other IT resources.
  2. Provides hands on support to system end users with learned application knowledge and documents project issues.   
  3. As appropriate, prepares detailed functional specifications for all issue/ requests for development/modification to the specific system.
  4. Provides application build support specific to those applications as assigned.  Documents all build efforts consistent with normal business practice.
  5. Supports development of test plans for all testing necessary for new systems or modifications to existing systems with direction from manager. Conducts test activities and assists users in the testing of all new systems and modifications completely before implementation into the production environment.  Documents all testing efforts.
  6. Maintains customer service orientation and is responsive.
  7. Maintains certified proficiency within each assigned Epic application module
  8. Possess strong analytical abilities
  9. Acts as a primary support  for the application
  10. Performs in-depth analysis of workflows, data collection, report details, and other technical issues
  11. Builds and coordinates software updates and changes
  12. Prepares and implements  detailed  system specifications
  13. Communicates effectively with project leadership, team mates, and customers
  14. Serves as a liaison between end users, vendors, and third parties


Interested individuals must have strong intellectual capability, maturity and judgment, as demonstrated by their academic performance, professional experience, and other demonstrated achievements.  Successful candidates will meet the following qualifications: 

  • Bachelor Degree required, preferably in Information Technology or Computer Science, from an accredited institution with strong record of academic achievement.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to learn new concepts and job requirements quickly
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Excellent quantitative and analytic skills
  • Proficiency with programming and system building
